Okay, that was a little too short for a journal entry, and I want to get people as pumped as I am about this new channel. I've been watching a lot of my favorite artists record themselves drawing and I'm a big ol'sheep, so ... 'baaa-aaaa-aaa' away, right?

Basically, what'll happen is -

I'll record myself drawing.

Hopefully this will teach me to exercise a little more patience when drawing. I have a bad habit of rushing things.

So far I have only one video. A test, if you will. Check it out if you feel like it. Or don't!

... well, not really.

I'm updating because I'm tired of looking 4 months into the past every time I load up my dA page.

I'm up in Hudson Falls, NY now -a nowhere town up in assfuck, USA- and Liv and I recently got internet hookup, so I'm back! (yay!) I've been recently stricken with a severe case of inspiration, so any people waiting for commissions (a few of ya, sorry) are going to be waiting for a bit. Your prices will/have been discounted, so ... I'm sorry for the delay.

I just got a new job and I'm trying to soak up the inspiration while it's here. I don't have enough time for my own projects and commission work, so the latter has been delayed temporarily.

On a happier note!

I really want to play some Wind Waker, but I can't.

I guess that wasn't too happy.

I wish I had a subscription so I could make this all flashy 'n stuff.

Well, I've decided to open myself up for commissions. I figure that just throwing the offer out there can't hurt. Prices for character commissions are as follows:

Single Character (black and white): $5
Single Character (color): $7

That's all I want to open up at the moment.
Just so I don't get bogged down. (Not that I foresee a whole lot of people sending me requests, but hey ... it could happen.)

I've also been throwing around the idea of doing comics for people.
Those would be a case by case price point.

(Just an update. At the moment I'm pretty much cut off from the internet. I have a spare moment here at a friend's house, but this obviously won't be an everyday thing. So, if there's any delay in response from me then you can chalk it up to the lack of internet, and not my notorious ability to procrastinate.)

Well, the time has come, I think.

Part of me (the business guy) wants to start taking commission work. Another part (the artist in me) worries that I'm not good enough, and that any price point I set will almost always be negotiated down, because I just would assume that what I was being offered, as opposed to what I was asking, would be my worth as an artist.

Now, this isn't a post where I'm seeking comments saying 'Oh, no you're good enough. Stop beating yourself up! YOU'RE AWESOME!' This is in all seriousness. I need to know. If you guys say, 'Maybe you should start drawing BACKGROUNDS before you start charging people real grown up money.' then I will do that.

Let me have it!

No, I doubt I'll get anyone at first. But, you have to open sometime, amirite?
